SFC’s Boy’s and Girl’s Track & Field Team competed in the second Coastal League Meet of the season on Wednesday.
The Boys T&F team amassed 14 lifetime bests on the day, placing second among the 8 Coastal League teams. Victories included Freshman Ryan Todd in the 3200 with a time of 10:52, good for an SFC #9 all-time and Isiah Love in the Shot Put 43’2”, SFC’s #4 throw all-time. Other podium finished included; Blake Weeks in the 100 & 200, and Dennis Smith in the 100, Caleb Johnson in the 400 and High Jump, Trent Hall in the 110 Hurdles, and Oscar Navarro in the Discus.
The SFC Girls team continue their league dominance, amassing 15 PR’s, establishing 6 new Top 10 All-Time marks, and winning 7 of the 10 running events against the 8 teams in the meet. They scored 48 points, with the second place team at 30, and 3rd place 21. Victories included; Abby Phillips in the 100m, Chloe Krome in the 800, Alana Acuna in the 1600 & 3200, Jessica Olmore in the 300 Hurdles, the girls 4x100 team of Trinity Hontucan, Bella Raiszadeh, Lauren Oordt & Abby Phillips, and the 4x400 team of Kennedy Necoechea, Molly Thornton, Chloe Krome and Camille Needham. Other individual podium finished included; Natalie Cutri, Camille Needham, Nica Zsiros, Bella Raiszadeh, Anna Bliss in 2 events and Abby Phillips.
