On Wednesday, January 23, the Eagles took on the Bishop's Knights for their second away game this season. Within the first minute of the game, the Knights scored an inside the box volley to stun the crowd and the Eagles. The rest of the second half was a physical battle consisting of few chances at goal and even possession. In the next half, the Eagles came out with high press and the hunger to fight back and score. For most of the half, it looked like Bishop's had matched the intensity and weren’t going to give away a goal. But with 15 minutes left in the game, leading goal scorer Freshman Stephen Britton put one in the back of the net to tie the game up. When the final whistle blew, both teams were all fired up and needed to blow off some steam. The Eagles next game is this Thursday at home at 3:15 against Francis Parker. So make sure you go and support your men's’ soccer team as they are now 5-1-2.
