For the season, the UCLA-bound McClendon had 245 carries for 2,638 yards and 41 TDs — with zero fumbles. He didn’t play in the second half of seven games this season. In three seasons, McClendon totaled 6,686 rushing yards (fourth all-time in the section) and 103 TDs.
