It Senior Week for SFC Softball! As the Lady Eagles head into their last week of regular season play, we want to celebrate the amazing young women who are leaders on our team. The team has three graduating seniors who will be completing their final season of play for SFC. Join us in celebrating their season and careers at SFC.
Let's get to know them a little better with some senior Q & A. Batting second is senior leader and team captain Bryn Henson. Bryn stars at short stop, in the batter's box, academically and as a role model for her teammates.
Where are you planning to go to college? What major (if known)?
I will be attending Arizona State University and studying Computer Science
What is your favorite sport to play?
Softball! Pickleball is another favorite.
What is your favorite sport to watch?
Softball or track and field.
What are/were your favorite classes at SFC? Broadcasting classes, senior year bible, discrete math.
What other activities do you participate in?
SFC soccer. club softball all my life.
What is your favorite bible verse?
John 1:5 God is light, in him there is no darkness.
What is your walk up song and why?
Stayin Alive by the Bee Gees. I like the upbeat and disco feel… i play better when I'm loose and having fun!
What do you love most about being part of the Softball program at SFC?
My teammates, not only do we work hard and play some good softball, but we have so much fun doing it. I love these girls!
Who is your favorite professional athlete?
Sis Bates. I am a Sis Bates fan girl… have been since I was 12. I love watching her play softball. Her enthusiasm, passion, and joy shine through. She is also incredibly talented and is the best NCAA shortstop in history. She is also such a cool person and I love her; I want to be her!
What is your senior business week business and why should everyone come buy what you are selling?
Java Jungle. Stop by the cafe for coffees, drinks, bagels, sweatshirts, and more! You will not be disappointed by our quality or prices. Get your handmade coffee/espressos and your Einsteins bagels!
