The Varsity Men's Water Polo Team played strong against Mission High School in a non-league game at Palomar College. The Eagles kept in the fight for the first 2 quarters but the young team came away with a loss at 8-19.
Senior Trey Grove had 11 saves in goal, working hard to stave off the Grizzlies. Sophomore Mitchell Bailey led the team in scoring with 4 goals while Sophomore Colby Rossettie added 3 goals to the score. Freshman Dan Correia locked in his first Varsity goal helping the Eagles to put one more on the board.
The Eagles JV Team will participate in a multi-school 3-Day Tournament this weekend and the Varsity Team will be back at it on Tuesday, September 12th as they travel to Lakeside to face El Capitan High School.
