At 8-0-1 on the season, the Eagles Softball team is off to one of their best starts ever. Under second year head coach David Bennett, the Eagles are firing on all cylinders. On the season, the Eagles are outscoring opponents by a score of 73-19!
The Eagles are on fire offensively with a team batting average of .356. Led by Freshman Maya Tyszkiewicz hitting an impressive .567; Henson, Binnie, and Anderson all hitting above the .400 mark.
The Eagles are also playing great defense behind standout pitchers O. Anderson and T. Bennett who are leading the Eagles staff to an earned run average of 1.25 on the year.
The Eagles will have a few weeks off over spring break before they pick back up on 4/12 when they take on Tri-City Christian in coastal league play.
