Last week saw the Eagle back in Coastal League play, a tough League that gives you no days off. SFC took on Pacific Ridge on Tuesday at Avaira in Carlsbad. The Eagles had a rough day traveling away from home, seeing no on on the team Break 40 over 9 holes. The rough day was compounded by Pac Ridge playing solid golf earning a victory over SFC 213-237
Thursday was a new day for the Eagles who welcomed La Jolla Country Day to Morgan Run. It was a windy day on the South Course, but both teams played some quality golf. The Torrey's edged the Eagles 197-202, but both teams where very pleased with their play. Was another lost for the Eagles, but the team is hopefully trending in the right direction as they look to defend their back to back CIF Championship. On the day the Eagles were led by Spencer Rydin who shot and even par 36, and he was backed up by Nick Cable and Matt Almquist who each carded a 3 over par (+3) 39.
The team has a busy week coming up as they finish up league play and compete in the league finals tournament.
