The SFC Varsity Women's Tennis team traveled cross town to meet up against the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs. For the season's first match, the team worked hard but came away with just 6 wins.

Senior Reagan Coyle grabbed two solid wins in her singles matches with scores 6-4, 6-2. Junior Mila Sonkin added a strong 6-2 win to the tally while Sophomore Catherine Bailey stayed tough with all 3 wins in her singles matches scoring 7-5, 7-5 and 6-1.

The team will next face University City High School on Wednesday, August 23rd and will finish the week against Claremont High School on Thursday, August 24th.
