SFC Women’s Tennis went on a tear yesterday against Orange Glenn despite being down early:
“We were short-handed because of injuries and actually had to start in the hole -6 points. The girls stepped up and played with focus, determination, and teamwork” said, assistant Coach Beth Dammeyer.
The Eagles were penalized 5 singles sets due to injuries, but won the remaining 4. Nevertheless, the Girls rallied together during doubles play to go on and win 8 of the 9 sets to secure the win.
SFC’s next match is vs. Escondido Charter on October 2nd at 3:15pm.
